"Dawn Tuskers" - UFO
The light at the end of the tunnel is near. I think a few more days of stitching and I will be finished with one of my oldest "UFO". It is amazing to see the details formed very clear without any back stitching required.
Update on Coffee Angel
Everyone has had such great progress on their UFO's. Wonderful job! I've made some on Coffee Angel. Here's what it looked like last time:
And here is what she looks like as of last week:
I stitch on her once a week. I'm thinking one more day for the border and two more for the dress and legs.

Vicky L~Dragon Dreams COMPLETE
Dragon Dreams Summer Magic
28 count Natural Jobelan
DMC floss and Rayon
I finished my first UFO of the year. Now to pick up another UFO. Still so many choices to pick but I am leaning towards to Mirabilia Enchanted Mermaid next. It is always best to stitch of what is calling you, and Enchanted is screaming from inside my bureau, lol
Rachel S update--Summer Ball
This is my update on Summer Ball, by Sandy Littlejohns from Cross Stitch Collection. This has been a UFO for 5 and a half years. I am determined to make real progress this year. I worked on this for a week. When I picked up on Saturday, the men on the right just had shells of heads, and the center guy of the group wasn't there. I also filled in some more of the wall, and before I put this down, worked on the blue dress girl's dress. My plan is to do each page as a section instead of working from center out, because I keep putting this down from intimidation.

Debbie K - Wedding Sampler
Well, it's been a couple of weeks since I posted a progress update. In fact, I haven't posted one since I finished Desert Garden Mandala, so it's about time. I'm now working on Teresa Wentzler's Wedding Sampler. This is what it looked like when I pulled it out to start on it again. That was about two weeks ago.
I've made good progress on it since and this is where it stands now:
All of the actual cross stitching is done now and what remains are the specialty stitches, the center lettering, and the beading. I've still got a lot of work to do but at least now I'm making progress!

Spring Seasonal Nine Patch - Vickie H
I finished my first page on my seasonal 9 patch design. Spring is now complete and I love how it turned out. I also started the 2nd page which is the fall designs. I have completed 18% of my UFO's so far this year. I only have 106 pages of UFO's to go.

Another One bites the dust
This UFO is completed!! Originally I was going to sew it into a quilt with 11 other blocks that have to do with this poem. But have decided to get it framed and give it to my oldest sister who is battling cancer for the second time. Decided that I would give it to her with the idea that she will pass it down to the next sister (there are 4 of us) who will retire next. I believe she will be there when I retire in 10 years.
Now on to a another new UFO, I'm on a roll.

Christina's UFO's
Hi all, finally, I am able to update as I have misplaced my camera but was able to borrow one for this update. Below is a pic of a UFO that I had started a few years ago. I had only laid about 7 stitches when I decided that I did not like working on the linen. Well, I managed to overcome my dislike and was able to put a good dent into it. This piece is mostly beaded and it's very difficult to place the needle when the holes are covered by beads, but I am persevering! and let's not discuss that crazy loop fringe edging...Mama mia!
I've put the other red flower UFO down as the back stitching doesn't show up very well and am thinking about using a darker color for the back stitching...I must seek the peace within and meditate on this.
Hope everyone is having a great stitching week! Christina

Stitching in Sunny Cal - UFO update
Here is where I started on this UFO, the old lady is from the "listen honey" designs, can't think of the designer right now. I'm stitching the poem "When I'm Old I Shall Wear Purple". I've loved this poem since the first time I read it in a book of poems by the same name. The poems in that book and the next one, which names escapes me too, are all wonderful and I've used a poem in the other one for another UFO I have, that was also a RR - the poem was about unfinished projects....so fitting for me.
Last weekend I went to Tucson AZ to a class at Mostly Bears where we made teddy bears. I finished mine this weekend. It came home all jointed and with eyes, but I needed to sew up the openings that I used for stuffing the arms, legs and body, added the nose and mouth and sewed on the ears.
MJ Bear has a little red bear that I also did at the class buddy that was also completed this weekend. Above is the little red bear that is made from an old red winter coat. The mini class in was learning how to do the nose, but since I didn't want just a head with a nose I purchased the whole bear and finished him up as well. Don't have a name for him yet....any suggestions?
I want to have the poem completed by the end of the month :) Then will go back to my Spirit Dancer. Also have my Dragon up on the floor stand ready to start. Will post more updates in another week.
